RichardMofe Damijo, a Nigerian born Nollywood actor, who is also popularly known asRMD, is also a politician who won the NAFCA for Best Actor in a Leading Role inthe year 2015 for his role in Oloibiri.He is also a one-time Commissioner for Culture and Tourism in his home state,Delta State.

RMDwas born in Warri, Delta State, Nigeria. He studied Theater Arts atthe University of Benin and later studied law at the University of Lagos.

RichardMofe Damijo began his Career with Concord Newspapers and Metro Magazine as areporter. His Acting Career however began in a television soap opera calledRipples in the late 1980’s. He later authored and produced the movie “Out ofBounds”. In the maiden edition of the African Movie Academy Awards, held in theyear 2005, Ricgard Mofe-Damijo won the award for Best Actor in a Leading Role.

RichardMofe Damijo was the commissioner for Culture and Tourism in Delta State,Nigeria.
